How to make plants grow faster (safe for fish)

Unknown9182

I replaced all my plastic plants in my 36 gal bow front with live plants. Before and after image. Is there any way to promote growth for plants (Java moss, java fern, Anubias, moss balls) in a safe manner for fish? I heard about liquid CO2 and root tabs but I’m not sure if those work well. I’m looking for something fish safe and that will help plants grow lush and healthy.

Those are all slow growers even with co2, the liquid co2 may even kill your moss ball as its technically a type of algae. It just takes time with those plants.

The Easy Green fertilizer would probably be a good idea. It's definitely safe for fish, shrimp, snails, etc.
