they are caves/breeding tubes, kinda like the ones that people make with PVC pipes. I'm going to put them in the tank tomorrow morning, I glued some large flat marbles to the bottom to keep them in place on the bottom. On the left side of the tank it'll be peacock paradise and on the right it will be the bristlenose bungalow. Both properties are affordable and attractive, so hopefully getting tenants will not be an issue. (hope the pond snails don't find out or they might move in and lower my property value)

gladly, or better yet, start your own thread and just put the link for it on this thread so we can go back and forth. Your methods will likely be a bit different so it definitely deserves it's own thread (i love diy stuff).

in other news, we already have a prospective tenant.

(yes my tank is dirty, and there is disintegrated Nori everywhere, but hey you get what you pay for in these apartment complexes.

Beautiful peacock gudgeon you have there! Definetly looks like an interested potential tenant

I'm not much of a DIY person myself (I lack the creativity and ability to put it all together), but I love seeing other people's projects

I'm just happy to know that all these 'instant cycling' products have actually served a purpose ^_^
