Should you choose to try and follow Butterflys use of a garden hose to fill a tank BlueberryBetta be aware that you must add conditioner equal to that needed for the complete volume of the tank.

As far as I can see Lucy that important chunk of information is completely missing in that thread?

Hey BlueberrytheBetta
How‘s it going with that DIY gravel vacuum?

I collected numerous small fish tanks from the rubbish dump recycling shed. At $10 a foot including pink gravel, medications, heaters ,filters and sometimes vacuuming hoses. Consequently I have more vacuums than I can use.

If you need a hose i can post you one if it helps?
PM Message me with an address if it’s ok with your parents? Or I can post it to any address? Perhaps your grandparents address if that suits your parents?

It's a dyi water changer not instructions on how much dechlorinator one should use.
Not too sure why such a petty comment.

if you have a hardware store near you, you could by some clear fexable vinyl tubing and then use it as a gravel vac, perhaps you could and a small pvc pipe on the end to make a vacuum head.

I barely glanced at it and it definitely says add dechlorinator in the very first post? Maybe you need to read it again. Not everything is going to tell you how much to add. That’s on you. You have to do proper research before doing anything that effects a living being. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
