20 Gallon Tank How to keep a tank cycled without fish

I think my fishless cycle is complete. Parameters are Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 20. However, I am not ready to add fish just yet. How much and how often do I need to add ammonia to keep the BB alive until I add fish? I am using Dr.Tim's ammonium chloride.

If you just keep doing what you have been it should be fine. As long as their is semi-constant ammonia in the tank I'd think It would be ok. I don't know amounts though, I've never used that.

Yep just keep doing what you are doing and do a large water change the day before you get your fish.

Agree with the above, and if you don't want to make waste of the ammonium, you can just put fish food in, put however much you'll use to feed your fish once they're in, because that is how much will be created by your fish.

Nitrifiers can easily survive ammonia-starved for weeks if not months. You don’t have to do anything, but if you want to be sure just dose 2ppm or so ammonia each week.
