How To Increase Tank Temperature?

I already have a heater for the tank, it’s automatically preset for 78 degrees with no way to change the setting. I want to increase the temperature a little, gradually, because one of my mollies has Ich and because I have Amano Shrimp in the tank I can’t medicate it. I don’t have a hospital/quarantine tank and really can’t get one anytime soon.... so I’m trying the aquarium salt and raised temperature method and crossing my fingers. The weather is hot enough that the heater only turns on maybe once or twice a day, so it’s already almost 80, but I want to slowly get it up to 85 for a while. Should I add some warmer water when I do my water changes? I’m planning on doing 3, 25% a week to try and get the Ich out of the tank. Does this sound like a good idea given the situation? I’m open to any and all suggestions!! Thanks!
