How to feed community tank?

I have 10 lambchop Rasboras with 7 sparkling gouramis. Whenever I feed them the Rasboras decimate the pellet food in seconds! The food floats on top and doesn’t even get a chance to sink yet. The gouramis are usually kinda clueless to the food until it’s too late. So I noticed the gouramis don’t really get any. How can I alleviate this situation?

You could take a cup with some tank water, drop the pellets in there and let them get mushy. Pour that in the tank and it should go everywhere, if you have Cory's on the bottom that will feed them too.

Bloodworms are easy to spread around the tank. Frozen brine shrimp and mysis will fill up the tank too. Pretty much anything that won't float can be gotten by the gouramis if you manage to distract the rasboras.

Put food in a cup of tank water and use a turkey baster to put some of it in the bottom.

Try feeding the rasboras their floating food in one corner of the tank. Drop slow-sinking pellets in the opposite corner at the same time. Both will figure it out soon enough. This is how I make sure my corys get some food with quick (piggy) guppies & neons in the tank. I also do the turkey baster trick when feeding bloodworms.

Toss your food into the HOB filter output, the food will probably sink.

I do this with my Cory’s to keep the food wafers out of my plants. Should work for this too. Get a piece of rigid plastic tubing that reaches the bottom of your tank. Drop your pellets into the tube and then use the bottom of the tube to direct the food to the spot you want. Tubing should have a large enough diameter to allow the pellets to free fall.
