How To Culture "greenwater"?

Hello, so I've been wanting to setup a microalgae culture using the greenwater from my pond, but I was wondering if anyone has experience culturing microalgae because I'm not sure exactly how a microalgae culture would work. I know I need to put the water in a container with good aeration and light, but I have a lot of questions for example what kind of maintenance does the culture need, how often can I harvest, how do I harvest, should I dose fertilizers, what kind of water should I use etc. I've also been wondering if this freshwater algae can be grown in saltwater? As I want to use some of it to feed artemia.
Thank you any help is appreciated!

From my limited experience, I found fresh-cut grass clipping to work very well. I just toss it in a tub, and within a day or two I get green water so dark it looks like a cold-pressed veggie drink.

The reason why grass clippings work so well is because they contain a lot of phosphorous, or so I've read.

I can't say anything about cultivation, personally. I just do it to culture midge fly larvae, more commonly called bloodworms.

My frustration has been trying to achieve it under artificial light. Tub outside + fish + 2 weeks = limiltless green algae. Bring the same tub inside, put it under 20000+ lumens of light and it clears up just as fast.

Canada so year round outside is sort of out of the question.

The same with proper green hair algae from the wild. I bring home rocks from the beach praying it will survive, put in some of my best growing tanks, and its gone in a few days.

Wondering if temperature is a key component.

I have done it in breeding tanks.
Tank + foam. Breed, grow out young, move everyone out of the tank that has seen 0 water changes since the parents went in. leave light on. Green water!
Unfortunately I still can't keep daphnia alive. I have failed 2x, they are all dead in a few days.
