I have BIG piece of driftwood which when made to stand upright looks like a mini tree bark with branches facing up.. I have a 55g tank.. I wanna cover the branches of my wood with any sort of moss which would cover the tops and make it look like a tree.. Please help by suggesting the best type of moss for my need..

Flame moss or Christmas moss looks good but is a bit harder to find. The easiest and cheapest around is Java moss, and it will do well.

I was going to say the same, it's worth the effort if you can find it.
Failing that willow moss is quite good it's a thicker moss & needs more pruning to keep it neat but any moss tree will need regular trimming.
