How to clear cache on your device

Details on how to clear cache on your device.

iPhone Users:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. On the main screen of the iPhone go to Settings.
  3. Choose Safari
  4. Click on "Clear History and Website Data"
  5. Click on "Clear History and Data"
  6. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Android Users:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Open the Settings of your phone
  3. Tap the Storage heading to open its settings page
  4. Tap the Other Apps heading to see a list of your installed apps
  5. Find the application you want to clear the cache of and tap its listing
  6. Tap the Clear cache button

iPad:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Select the 'Settings' icon on your iPad's home screen
  3. Choose 'Safari' from the menu on the left
  4. Select 'Clear History and Website Data" then select "Clear History and Data" from the confirmation pop-up
  5. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Google Chrome:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Click the three small dots in the upper right-hand corner of your browser.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. In the upper left corner, click the three lines and open the "Advanced" tab.
  5. Click Privacy and Security.
  6. Scroll down and click on "Clear Browsing Data."
  7. Be sure the time range says "All time," and be sure these three items are checked: Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files.
  8. Select "Clear Data"
  9. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Safari on Mac:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Select "Safari" from the menu bar within your browser
  3. Choose "Clear History"
  4. Make sure the drop-down menu says "All History"
  5. Click on "Clear History" again!
  6. Close out of the browser fully (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Safari on Mac (OLDER versions):
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Select "history" from the menu bar within your browser
  3. Choose "clear history" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select "all history" from the bottom of the drop down menu. (Nothing else needs to be selected).
  5. Click "clear history.
  6. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Firefox on Mac:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. On most versions, you'll want to select "History" from the menu bar, but if you aren’t seeing that option it will be under "Tools"
  3. Select "Clear Recent History..."
  4. Select "Everything" in the time range drop-down.
  5. Check the boxes next to "Cookies" and "Cache"
  6. Click "Clear Now" button
  7. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Firefox on PC:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Within your browser, select tools (Alt + t)
  3. Select Options
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Select the link "clear your recent history"
  6. In the pop-up window, choose the time range of "Everything" and make sure that "Cookies" and "Cache" are select
  7. Select "Clear Now"
  8. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Internet Explorer:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Open up a browser window
  3. Select the Tools tab (Alt + t), click Delete Browsing History 4.
  4. Make sure only the following two boxes are checked (uncheck ALL others): Temporary Internet Files and website files; Cookies and website data
  5. Click Delete
  6. Close out of the browser (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

Edge:
  1. Log out of Fishlore
  2. Select the "..." icon in the top, right corner of the browser window to get to the settings menu.
  3. In the settings menu, towards the bottom, click on Choose what to clear.
  4. Select Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files. After the two are marked click on clear.
  5. Close the browser fully before reopening— (this last step is necessary to reset your browser!)

On PC:
Also, on a pc I just do "ctrl + shift + r" and then "ctrl + F5" and that seems to do the trick most times.

Thanks Mike, I know how to do mine but wouldn't know how to advise others, now I know where to direct them
