I had a fish that got ich. She ended up dying. Now I have a ten gallon tank with some live plants and rocks. There's still water. I'm running the tank just like I would if there were a fish in it.
Anyways, what do I have to do before adding another fish in to the tank? How do I clean it to make sure the new fish won't get ich?
It was a female betta that died, and now I want to transplant some of my guppies into the tank.

If there is nothing in tank besides plants, u can leave it running for two weeks. I'd add pure ammonia to keep the nitrogen cycle going. Without a host the ich will all die off.
