How can I use my baby spider plants in my tank? Are they OK to stick the roots in my tank?

I don't think that spider plants are suited for aquariums. I don't think there would be any harm in just leaving the roots in, though, but leave the rest of the plant above water.

Theyll just rot. Theyre terrestrial plants.

In my exprrience spider plants like a more dry environment. Mine does well when I let the dirt dry a lot before watering thouroughly. I'm not exactly sure but they could indeed rot and make your water mucky

I have them with roots in most of my tanks. My mom had one in a vase with water for about 5 yrs

I know they are not aquatic plants. I wanted to put their roots in the tank not the whole thing
