How To Add More Substrate To Tank?

I have a 36 gallon tank and was just curious on if there is a way to add more substrate to a tank without completely emptying the tank of decor/plants/fish? Using eco complete substrate. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

 

Just add eco complete in little container and add to tank make sure you go down to bottom and flip container slow..

Ok. That sounds easy enough. Rinse it real good then just pour it in slow? I didn't know if cloudy water would hurt the fish or anything like that from it

 

If you using Eco complete plus no rinse need and cloudy water will not hurt
