How Old Is This Platy Fry?

So I just found a platy fry in my tank, and I have moved him into a breeder box with some water sprite. My platy gave birth almost two weeks ago, but he is very small so I'm not sure if maybe she is dropping a few fry. She is bigger now again.

He is very hard to see, but he's an orange-ish color.

He looks about one weeks old. He probably is from her previous batch of fry (2 weeks ago). Perhaps he is a runt or isn't getting enough food, to make him small. Do you only have one female platy?

It's always hard to tell with fry. How much food and the water can affect how fast they grow, too. I'd say they're under a month, probably 2 to 4 weeks. Without having anything for scale or measurement it's hard to say for certain. I have platy fry that are approximately the same size it appears, and they are just under a month old. My molly fry are on the other hand a month and half, nearing two months, and are noticeably larger but not by much.

I have three females and one male. I have lots of plants and I'm pretty sure that I spoil him with too much food lol. I try to crush up the flakes as best as I can but I'm probably giving him too much anyways.

Do you think that he's just been hiding since my platy last gave birth. It was on the 13th of Sept. I was pretty sure that none survived but I guess this little guy did. Or maybe my platy have been dropping a few a week, like I have read that they sometimes do.

How old do they have to be to be able to eat bloodworms? I know I can't do it now, but I'm just curious. Here's another pic that's more clear. Maybe you can tell a little better.

He can easily be 11 days old. Have any of your other platies dropped fry in the past week? Or are you expecting any to drop soon? I doubt she's been dropping fry for over a week.

They should be able to eat anything that can fits into their mouth. So make sure you're crushing the flakes enough. If you want to feed him bloodwork now, you could try to cut and dice them small enough. Could be hard though lol

Yeah it looks like they're at the 2 to 3 week mark. Bloodworms won't be feasible until at least 2 months, depending on their growth. I feed mine HikarI Tropical Micro pellets and just pinch them between my finger and they crush easily. The fry love them and seem to be growing faster with this food than the flakes I was using.
Occasionally once a week I'll give them crushed freeze dried bloodworms.
I baby my fishies lol.

I tried putting some flakes and crushing them. I dropped some of it in, but he didn't go for it. I guess he could nibble the plant if he needed to. The bloodworms are like a frozen block and it takes forever to thaw it out enough, so I think I'll wait lol.
I think only one platy is able to give birth at the moment. The other 2 I just got last week because my ratio was 1f/3m and I needed to fix it. I've been checking for a gravid spot, but they haven't gotten bigger and the male simply ignores them. It's crazy that he's that small and over a weekold! Much smaller than I thought

Ok I won't give him bloodworms yet. I have API Tropical Flakes.

How old are they usually when you can tell what gender they are?

Lol french fry
He's so tiny! I'm so excited to watch him grow. I'm a teen so this is my first time seeing a fish this small lol. Hopefully I get to see more fry soon though. Platies give birth so often and I plan on setting up a fry tank so I can raise some batches
