How often do you test your water?

I know I have a API master test kit somewhere. But to be honest, I can't remember the last time I used it. I've been in the hobby for awhile now, and have plenty of seeded media if I set up a new tank. Which I do often. I will also add some Stability when I do this. Plus I'm lazy :;smack Not really. But I really don't see the point in my situation.

So I'm curious if others are like me. Or if there are people who are more diligent about testing.

I test my water at least twice a week
At least I test the three tens and two 2.5's twice a week. The 75 is lucky to be tested once a month, lol.

    Occasionally.... it happens in spurts.

I test my water once a week in new tanks (under 2-3 months old), otherwise maybe once a month...

Keeping in mind that my tanks have been set up for a long time, I rarely test.
The times I do test is
    1) Setting up a new tank with seeded filter media (every couple of days for about a week)
    2) My aquatic critters behavior or appearance seem off.
    3) Curiosity

    I like Lucy's 3rd reason :)

I only test mine when there seems to be a problem or if I'm aiming for some specific set of water parameters for breeding or something like that.

Same for me! Very rare that I test. I have filter media 15 years old.

My dogs taste test my water. I've got filters that have been running far longer than they've been alive.

Every so often as I walk by a tank I will stick my hand in. If it comes out wet I know I am good and move on.
