How often do convict cichlids spawn

If i got a pair of convicts how often would they spawn and how many fry do they have i wouldn't want to get overwhelmed with them.

If i got a pair of convicts how often would they spawn and how many fry do they have i wouldn't want to get overwhelmed with them.

From what I’ve read it’s about once a month- they may spawn right away or it could take a week or two.

The frequency in which Convict Cichlids will spawn depends on several factors; - environment, nutrition & the genetics of an individual fish.
Convicts are such prolific breeders that their offspring have very little monetary value. Most LFS's won't
take them & it's nearly impossible to give the fry away.
