How much would a 36 gallon weigh?

My brother is getting a 36 gallon soon. He wants to know how much it would weigh to make sure the floor can hold it up. He is using one 20lbs bag of sand. Thanks!

 

I usually go with 10 pounds per gallon. That way all avessories are taken into consideration.

Similarly. I like the ten pounds a gallon rule, it accounts for a lot. Then add 20-50 pounds depending on your stand and where put things

Correct. The amount of substrate, filter and hood size correlates with tank size.
