How Much To Feed Mystery Snails?

I had mistakenly bought them for tank cleaning, but happily surprised by their antics. I consider them just as interesting as most other fish.
I am still in the dark as to how MUCH to feed them. When I underfeed them, they stampede anything I throw in the tank, when I overfeed them, they eat it anyway, but lay eggs like crazy. I am searching for the happy medium for regular feeding.
What is a good rate of feeding? I'm hoping for a X number of algae wafers to inches of snail per tank.
So far, everyone qualified gives me a figure it out your self answer, or referres me to someone else who gives me a figure it out yourself answer. I have found this so far: about a half dollar size of pellets/algae wafers fed once a day gets stampeded, and eggs.... lots of eggs.

How many snails and how large are they? There is never an exact amount of algae wafers to inches of snails. For 4 mystery snails each about a half dollar size they would probably eat 1 algae wafer about 1.5 cm in diameter if you have enough algae and film in your tank. That is just how much my mystery snails eat but yours might be different

My mysteries won’t touch algae, they love sinking shrimp pellets though. And occasional zucchini, they like meat better than veggies.
