How much should I feed my betta

I feed my betta pellets from horizon royal brand (I’ll place a picture of guppy food from the same brand below) which are about one millimetres. I read a lot that you should feed your betta what it would finish in approximately 3mins, my betta can finish around 15 pellets with that size in that time. From around one month ago my betta got bloated from one side and it got bigger a day after a day even after letting her fast for 2 or 3 days, so I figured out that I am probably overfeeding. The bloating seems to be decreasing now but I am afraid I am starving the fish, I’ve been feeding only 2-4 pellets a day and fast her every few days. I would like to know how much pellets you should feed your betta fish considering its around 1mm pellets. Thank you in advance.

I would spread out your feeding to maybe 1-3 pellets every day based on how she looks. Then just do a fast day once or twice a week. Also, you could consider switching up the food in case that may have some effect we aren't aware of.

Yeah i usually keep even my king bettas to about 5-6 pellets a day total. They certainly aren't starving, though they may say otherwise.

Adding frozen daphnia to the betta's diet will help with bloat and constipation. It is a really great high protein food, and it acts as a natural laxative. If you feed it instead of pellets once or twice a week, it should help a lot. :)

If I find some nearby with a reasonable price I would give them a try
