How Much Should I Feed Corys?

Hi, I plan on adding a school of 6 bronze corys or albino corys to my 29g and I was wondering how much I should feed them. Their food will be Omega One Shrimp Pellets. The pellets are about 8mm long. How many and how often should I feed the corys? Thanks :).

EDIT: Also, should I supplement their diet with something else? If so, what else should I give them?

Hey there, I love my “green” cories (that’s how they were branded when I bought them). Similar to the bronze from what I can tell.

I find these are fat little buggers and will add bio load larger than their 3” size would indicate. The albino might be slightly smaller not sure.

What else will be in the tank ?

Every fish in my tank goes after the shrimp pellets or any sinking food really, so my corries have adapted to be surface feeders (they still skim around the bottom as well). Cories seem highly adaptable and will eat whatever everyone else is eating. I feed mine an occasional veggie (cucumber mostly), Algae wafer or some shrimp pellets. When I use pellets for my six I add 4-5 pellets, but my rainbows will get at least parts. If you look at my posts I have a movie of cories feeding on tubifex worms cube Attached to side of tank. They literally held off the rainbows for several minutes.

Awesome fishes GL keep posted on how goes.

Thanks for the info!
In addition to the corys, I am adding guppies, platies, and neon tetras. And maybe some shrimp or snails eventually.

Id skip the neons honestly. Maybe look at cardinals if you have softer water. Neons tends to be overbread and can have bad genetics. If its jusy a few guppies that wil multiply you will deal with fry but be ok

My water is harder and the pH is high so I don't think cardinals would do very well in my water.
I'm getting all male guppies so fry shouldn't be an issue.
