How much room do 18 platy fry need

These fry are now 9 days old and in one of those net breeder boxes. Im wondering how much they will need when they're 2 weeks old? I've never bred fish before and these were already pregnant when I got them so any advice would be very much appreciated

A 10g should be sufficient.

 

10 gallon would be good

 

A 10 gallon should work as long as you have proper filtration and keep up with the water changes.

 

Yep a 10 gallon definetly make sure to get a sponge filter too and also congrats your a platy Grandma

Could I set up a tote for them? I have two others that are pregnant and they will be having theirs very soon im planning on taking most of the babies to the petstore the ones that I dont have rooms for

 

Depending on tank space you could even just throw them in with the adults. In my experience they don't really eat their own fry much if at all. I know because I really wish mine would lol.

That would probably work. When I was going to breed fish I was going to just buy a big bin to keep all the fry in.
