Hey ppl I'm pretty new to fish keeping and this site to I will have MANY questions in the near future (fair warning) My 29 gallon has 2 filters

    1 Top fin 30 HOB
    1 Aqueon 20 HOB

The Top fin is 150 gph and the Aqueon 125. I heard that is lost because the companys run them empty so do any of you know how much gph im really getting?

    Thank you!

About half to two thirds. And that's with clean media.

You have enough filtration for an "average" bio load, imo!
