HI all,
my tank has approx. 40 nano fish (Green neon tetra, lampeye killi, chillI rasbora). I do feed them variety of food (flakes, frozen cyclops, frozen blood worms, dried baby brine shrimp), but I'm not sure about the amount and how often. I leave home around 6.30AM and come home around 6PM Monday-Friday. For now I feed them once a day during weekdays at 6PM and twice on Saturday and Sunday (8AM and 6PM). Its in the weekends I feed them cyclops in the morning and sometime flakes or bloodworms in the evening.
Today I noticed they saw me coming in and was swimming on top and waiting for the food. So they seem really hungry.
Normally when I get close to the tank, they school and hide a bit in the back of the tank, but not today.
Should I start feed them twice a day? I heard some fish require 16-24 hours to digest the food?
How often and how much do you feed your fish?
Thanks!
