Well, yeah. Everything in moderation... except aquariums.

 

I know a guy with a reef tank I helped him take care. Of it when he goes on vacation. I would get one except I don't run a large construction company and make a lot of money he told me when I get a Saltwater tank he would buy my live rock for me but still protein skimmers. Tank stand heater filter powerhead. Ill defaintely stay under 70 gallons when I go SW

I have a 15 gallon tank that I'm still in the process of setting up [funds are slI'm right now, heh...], and I bought it second hand for about $15 at a flea market.

I've checked it for leaks and cracks, it has none, although there was a LOT of sealant on the tank's corners. It has a few hardwater stains, but I'm sure that's nothing that some elbow grease and vinegar can't get off.

Usually when you fill a tank most stuff dissapears but cleaning with vineegar is very effictive

 

Yeah, I read that on an eHow article, I believe, lol. So, I gave it a go. It got some of the hard water stain off, but not much. I'll probably give it another go before I actually finish setting it up, put it through the N cycle, and then buy some fish for it.
