How Much Crushed Coral In A 10 Gallon Tank?

I've set up a new 10 gallon tank about a week ago. With the nitrogen cycle complete, I've added my first fish (2 male guppies), some moss, and a few plants. Eventually I am going to slowly add a Dwarf Gourami and 6 Neon Tetras.

I tested my water and came up with these results.

GH - 60 ppm (mg/L)
KH - 40 ppm (mg/L)
pH - 6.4

Nitrite - 0 ppm (mg/L)
Nitrate - 20 ppm (mg/L)
Ammonia - o ppm (mg/L)

As you can see my KH and pH are low and that is due to my tap water being soft and having the same test results.

I read online that adding crushed coral to the filter can solve this issue but how much is the question?

P.S
If you have any tips for an aquarium newcomer like myself, please share

I don't typically worry about the hardness and softness. I would rather keep it consistent then have it fluctuate with crushed coral, buffers, ph down things. Remember, consistency in water parameters is better than the exact required one... If that makes any sense.

As long as your PH stays stable I wouldn't worry about adding crushed coral, although I must say dwarf gourami's may get aggressive so I would keep an eye on him when you add him and IMO would also add him last.

Both of those fish will do fine with that hardness and PH. It's much better to have a consistent PH instead of always chasing the perfect one. The one tip I would give is to ask what the water parameters are at the LFS that you are going to be getting the fish from. If the PH and Hardness are really high compared to yours, make sure you go extra slow when acclimating the fish.
