I only have one...and I'm not sure my boyfriend will ever let that number increase. Then again, I'm not sure I'd want to anyway...tanks are a big commitment! Although...a 10 gallon dwarf puffer tank sure does sound nice sometimes.

You know what... I can almost GUARANTEE that once I know I will not live in a tiny jail cell, I mean, single dorm room, any more, I will most CERTAINLY let my MTS run loose!! A day doesn't go buy I don't think about it. I just don't think that I could fit anything more than this tank in my tiny room.. and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving a tank here at home..

But man... I think next summer I will be getting an appartment.. and then I'm in trouble. "No rent money?" "No, not this month, my mts flared up..."

what an excellent idea!!! my tanks are always immaculate nowadays, so my plecs just have wafers. don't them to get bored and complacent if I don't keep up their workload!!

Wasn't my idea, it was given to me by? Mmmmh let's think. I think it was either Chickadee or Butterfly. And then, Timg suggested putting a transparant jam jar in my algae farm. What a genius! That way, you have an 'ornament' that's full of algae inside and out. I swap the ornaments that go in the farm once they've cleaned them in the house, while another one was collecting algae outside.

lol... good idea. I think you should post a picture of this! I really want to see it!

def something I need to do! free fish food and a pasttime for them too! I have loads of ornaments for surface area, but they're such determined cleaners they don't get chance to get algae'd up!!! so the theory of letting the algae grow away from greedy plecs is perfect!

It's amazing, isn't it? How snails and algae are a pest and yet, we end up (at least we do in our house) breeding snails - for our dwarf puffers - and growing algae. What wont' our fish make us do...
