How many sinking wafers to feed panda corydoras?

Hi, I have 6 panda corys with 12 tetras and a Betta. I was just curious how many wafers I should feed them? For now I have been feeding them 1 crushed up wafer per night. I have to crush it up so my Betta doesn't eat all of it lol. Should I go up to 2 or even 3 wafers? Thanks

A wafer per every 2 cories is a generous amount of food to feed the little guys :) I suppose it depends on the size of the wafers as well though, but I still think a water per 2 cories is a good amount to feed them

Thank you! They are relatively small. About the size of a pinky finger nail.

Yeah one per every 2 cories is just enough :)

Less than the amount above, cut them in quarters and feed a quarter at a time. The six pandas will have more than enough in that quarter.

??? How big is a wafer???

I use a 1/4 inch Hikari sinking wafer. (6 mm) and when using vitalis they are around 3/5 inch each.( 20mm)

I agree with Itiwhetu . Two of those is way too much for six panda corys.

I feed 5 Hikari sinking wafers at night to 40 and 50 gallon tanks that have 8 +12 corydoras plus other species. I feed the pellets once or sometimes twice a week at most. Once a week I drop half a pleco pellet in at night. I feed zucchini once a week. The rest of the time the corydoras eat the same foods as the other species .I try to limit feeding the other small amount of dry foods to 6 days a week. With a 5 inch BN pleco in every tank it’s difficult for me to know who is eating what.

You have ( neon? ) tetras and a betta. All 3 species you have will eat anything you put in .

There is no easy answer to your question.
But I would say from the 3 pictures you have posted your fish are getting enough to eat . Possibly to much?
