How Many Oranda Goldfish?

I was wondering what the minimum permanent tank requirement would be for 2 Oranda Goldfish? I don't know if this matters but I was hoping for 1 RedCap and 1 Black/Blue. I'm confused because a lot of websites are saying to go for 30 Gallon Per fish and others say to follow the standard fancy goldfish rule of 20 for the first and add 10 per additional fish, I was thinking about doing 30 Gallon but I'm afraid that it won't be enough room since goldfish get huge. And would getting two smaller filters be better than 1 bigger one? I was looking at HOB filters but I was also considering doing canister.
Thank you

Get Aquaclear 110 for 2 goldies.

For a permanent home you 100% won't ever have to upgrade, go for 40 gallons for 2 with the expectation that they'll get huge. If a few years down the road you realize you hit the gene jackpot and they stay relatively small, you can always get 1 more if you want to.

You can always drop 1 more fish to fill the void, but you can't glue 10 more gallons to your tank.

2 Oranda Goldfish , 40g. I say go for a 55 gallon if you can and keep 3 of them. Feed them a varied diet consisting of lots of veggies , atleast 3-4 times a week such as broccolI , zucchinI , spinach , carrots ect.. get a good pellet such as Omega One Goldfish Pellet soak them in aquarium water for roughly 3 min and feed , also once a week frozen Brine shrimp or Bloodworms is good.

if you went with 1 Red cap oranda and 1 Ranchu you could get away with a 30g.
