How many Mollies in 10 gallon tank

I have a 10 gallon tank with a male Dalmatian molly that has been there since Friday and a silver molly that I got on Monday.

How many mollies total can be in my tank?

How long should I wait before I add another fish?

What about a nerite or mystery snail?

Thanks

you can get a nerite or mystery, I don't know much about mollies.

You can have three male mollies in there at max. Is your tank cycled? You can ussally add them a couple days-weeks apart.

Also, have a plan for fry just in case one of them really isn't a male. Especially if you let the store people sex them for you.

I used nutrafin cycle to start the tank.. after a few days of adding water and the nutrafin cycle i added my first fish.

I’m a bit worried because i’ve been reading online that mollies should only be kept in a 20+ gallon tank.. I am only able to have a 10 gallon tank for now. I can upgrade to a 20 gallon in about 4 months. Can I have three mollies in the 10 gallon then move them to a 20 in a few months? When will they grow to full size? Once I move them to a 20 can I add another?

if it temporary, you can have your mollies in the 10g. i don't see why you would want to buy more since they'll have heaps of babies ;)

They'll be ok for now, but they will outgrow it very fast. And if you a male and female, you'll have a hundred very soon lol. Mollies just be like that

Yes. It will be a little cramped but they probably won't be at their maximum size. Of course, there are a lot of other factors too, like their species, how much you feed them, temperature, etc...
