I love you, I do not speak english, so I send a message with google translation.

My friends, I have apistogramma type fish. How should the proportion of ladies of these fish be compared to men?

I have an aquarium of 200 gallons, a glass aquarium with 5 bridges. Each region has 40 liters of water.

How many men and how many women?

    My beautiful friend.

Some of our friends say why women are too many?

One boy and one girl apistogramma for each 40l

They are beautifull but mean fish. If they dont have enough space they fight.

They take territories and protect it from other apistogramma.

A boy and girl will form a couple, wont be as mean

If you have a seperate aquarium for only females, You can keep a few extra females and switch out the females that haven't paired with the males in your divided aquarium.

This is how I breed my various rams. The weak males get put into my large communities. The breeder males get forced female partners, if they don't pair and breed I switch out the female until there's success.
