Same question as in title. How many endlers can I keep in the ten gallon I'm planning on starting?

Beware - if you have any females or a mix of males and females, they are very prolific breeders. I had a group of 6 females in a 29 gallon and it was soon over run by fry, as all or most of the females had been exposed to males before I acquired them.

Agree, a 10 gallon can only hold 12 males endlers! If you want a colony then get a bigger tank and just get 1 male and 2 females. After 2-3 months you will have a good colony

I just need some buddies for the ghost shrimp and betta tank I'm planning. I've heard that ghost shrimp and bettas will eat the fry would they be able to keep up?

In a 10 gallon you should only have a betta! If you want another fish I suggest splitting the tank and get another betta or endlers. Don't try to create a community tank!

My betta is super mellow and I was gonna test how he did with 1-2 endlers. He's lived with them in the past with the person I got him from so I was hoping I could recreate a similar space for him with lots of plants and hiding places

We don't recommended it but sure you can try but just keep an eye on them! They are small so the betta can try to eat them!

The tank is going to be right next to my bed so I'll be keeping a close eye on it any time I'm home.

I keep a betta with my endlers, he's pretty easy going. Doesnt eat fry like I had hoped. But be aware the endlers tend to out compete the betta for food.
