What is the rest of the stocking?

Nothing I plan on getting a new tank and once it's cycled I wanted to add the rainbows

I would feel comfortable with 10 in there with a pair of Bolivian rams.

You would also be able to do a dwarf or honey gourami if you did what TD suggested, imo.

Is there any way I could add rummy nose tetras or scissor tail rasboras

Not scissortail rasbora, they get around 6" long. You could do rummynose tetra in a tank this size, but I wouldn't keep them with Bolivian rams - there's not a lot of temp overlap there. I'd keep rummynose with blue rams instead.

    Would Neons work with Bolivians?

Ask those questions! What's the purpose of the forum then?

Would Zebra Danios work in this tank if I keep it at 75°F

  15. TexasDomerFishlore LegendMember

    Yep!

You could do something like this:
    8-10x Zebra danios
    10-12x Neons
    2x Bolivian rams

Yes, I'll maybe reduce it to 74 degrees or below. 75 sounds too high to me for neons
