Hi, I’m a newbie and I would like to know how many cherry barbs and cardinal tetras can comfortably be together in a 10 gallon tank. I’m not entirely sure if they can even be together I’ve reasrevhed a lot on this topic but nothing showed up. Hope you can help me.

None. Welcome to fishlore but they are very active and need a bigger tank and also enjoy schools

Like the above mentioned, they would appreciate a larger tank, around 20g long or larger. However many smaller (and less active) fish do well in a 10g, if you want options.

There is a great thread on here with hundreds of suggestions for 10g.
