How long to quarantine

How long do you all quarantine fish before added them to your display tank? Just curious.

It depends on the fish for me, and where I get them. The super hardy ones, if they appear healthy after 2 weeks, I'm okay with adding them to my tanks. The sensitive ones, I give more time to adjust.

These are green gold cory's. I have 4 of them, one has been in quarantine for a month and the other three for ten days.

If the one that has been there for a month is with the others, you gotta wait till all the others are ready now. I would say 1-2 months.

Yes, you'll need to make sure all of the fish that are together in QT are in there for another month. That's the safest way to go because even though you put some others first, they may come down with something due to the others you put in afterwards.

For me, my QT time has shrank considerably since finding a great LFS that quarantines everything. I used to do 3 to 4 weeks, now I do a week just to make sure that everything is perfect.

Thanks for replying. I think I'll go another week.
