How long does it take

    how long does it take to breed my pond snails. i have 3 in a 20 gallon freshwater tank with my tetras. its been about 2 weeks now and all i see is them getting bigger and bigger in size but not breeding and my puffer needs them soon.
    what should i do

    Feed them frequently. You'll have snails in no time :)

    Overfeeding or leaving a lot of excess food usually works.

    i have algae pellets in there. and a cucumber from time to time

    Many pet stores will give away "pest" snails for free or only a few dollars.

    I actually decided to keep puffers because I had a bunch of snails come in on some live plants.

    You'll have hundreds in no time. I started with just 5 and ended up with too many.

    i threw in a cucumber and the sanil has been on it for about a good 18 hours. just nom nom nom on that cucumber. and i have another 2 sanils, one on top of the other one, are they doing what i think.... giggity (Quagmire laugh)

    Swap them for mts, theyll multiply quicker.
