My dad caught wild ghost shrimp, He used it for fishing, There were some left, They were put in a bag with no water, When my dad got home i put some shrimp in the water, They died shortly, Either from the water conditions they weren't used to, And the ghost shrimp in the bad lived longer than the ghost shrimp in water, They have survived for like 8 or 9 hours now without water, And i have to watch them suffer since they aren't used to my water conditions and i forgot to cycle the tank, How long do they actually live?

So long as they stay wet they can live quite a while. It wouldn't be a terrible idea to drip acclimate them (adding water slowly, drip by drip) while still in the bag and see what happens. Of course the water should be room temp and dechlorinated.

The shrimp probably died from shock.

I agree with dripping water in slowly.

Also, wild caught ghost shrimp are notorious for being very fragile because the tap water is usually a lot different than their home.
