I got my first corals yesterday, a few mouths of zoas and a mouth of red mushroom.

How long will they take to fully open up?

The zoas started openning but didnt go all the way and the mushroom doesnt seem to have changed much (it closed a little more at night).

They can take a few days depending on what kind of corals they are and how different the water perameters are from what they are used to. Never had much luck with Zoas but my Euphyllia seem to bounce back within 24 hours.

Might help to turn the lights down a little if you can temporarily
Turn down as in lower the intensity or leave them off? Corals do close at night right?
