How long can I leave shrimp where they are?

Ayayay, I'm back again for a bit! With questions!

I set up a little 3 gallon shrimp tank with 3 ghost shrimp a few months back, and it's been going well. Thing is, I'm going out of town for the holiday, nearly a month (little over three weeks) and I want to know if I can leave them where they currently are. Tank has a filter, but I've never turned it on cuz the berries hatched on my way back from picking them up. Which was great! Except I think it was a whisker, because the mom lacked the classic red ghost shrimp stripes, and all the babies died, just like my other whiskers (does anyone know if they need brackish or anything?). Tank has tons of plants, anacharis, hornwort, anubias coffeefolia, riccia, stargrass, and red root floaters. It was fine, but a little ramshorn hitchhiked in, and I'm worried about that thing throwing my params off a bit.

But mainly, will they be okay without food for 3 weeks? They've been absolutely fine for a week before, but three makes me hesitant...

Three seems like a lot. Can someone stop by 2x a week and feed them when you're out?

Leave the lights on. You'll have an algae issue when you get back but the shrimp will have plenty to eat while your gone. Just a brain storm.

Unfortunately I can't get anyone, and the building will be entirely closed off for that time.
Maybe try to acquire an automatic feeder?
Ah, unfortunately most of the electricity is being turned off, I'm fighting to keep my light on lol.

I'll try, but I think that silly little ramshorn has been eating nearly all of my algae
I know neos would be okay, but you think the larger ghosts will be too?

Transporting it is going to be a big issue unfortunately; the water in my area is extremely soft, so they're living in remineralized water, and I don't have a bucket I can put the water in to move them... I don't currently have a car either, and I'm afraid to mess up by friends car with all that water

Its only 3 gallons. You can buy a 5 gallon bucket at lowes or home depot for like 5.00 with a lid.

If you have a ramshorn algae will just cause an explosion in there population and when you get home they'll be no algae and a hundred ramshorn snails.

I unfortunately still don't have a car, and for no reason at all, Walmart (closer than home Depot/Lowe's) is 6 hours away by bus

Yeah, that is a big concern of mine to be honest... Hate those things, but I just can't bring myself to kill them

Honestly I love my ramshorns. They clean up all the algae on both plants and glass. Allowing me to have a much longer photo period. They also feed the cichlids in my larger tank.
