I bought anubias and their root just melted... especially my Coin leaf. I removed the roots just to promote new growth of roots.. but how fast for a new root to appear?

Anubias grow slowly, especially when they are first introduced to a tank. The fastest I've seen is maybe about an inch or so of root per week. Typically though, it will take weeks before you notice any growth at all.

If the rhizome is firm and green, it will just be a matter of time before you see new growth. If the rhizome is browning and mushy it’s dead and won’t grow anymore. Mine usually put out about 1 leaf per month but roots seem to grow even slower, maybe an inch every 2 months? I don’t fertilize either so that might be it also.

My anubias rhizome is green and some parts are not brown or mushy, instead, these parts are yellow and hard.. but due to the shipment or packaging, It damaged and melted some leaves.

Just trim off the parts that are melting. If part of the rhizome had melted you can also cut that and it will be alright.

Yeah. I will still keep some leaves to promote photosynthesis.
