How do your fish play?

I changed the direction of my filter output today and I noticed that one of my black skirt tetras is having great fun with it! She swum upstream which seemed like it needed some effort and then she slid quickly down! Than, one of the swordtails was watching her from distance and she joined the tetra and they were "surfing" together! It lasted a few minutes
I also called the swordtail Jumpy because when I got her home from LFS where she was in a small tank, she enjoyed the space so much and swum up and down erratically, especially enjoying the area around the filter. At first I was afraid that she got stuck there and can't swim out but she swum away without any problem and returned to the filter voluntarily, just to enjoy the stream
Other times I see my neons chasing each other (not often, only sometimes) but I don't know if it's play or aggression. But no one was injured so far.
How do your fish play, what do they enjoy?

Hi, newbie here. I just got a Betta fish name Bud last week. Bud doesn't have any friends in his tank as he is the only one there. Although he likes to play with my finger. If I touch the surface of the water and drag my finger around the aquarium, he will sure to follow and as he got close enough, he will try to bite me. But it tickles. Well that is how bud plays. Oh yeah, when I put a mirror beside his tank, he will swim around and around and around and around non-stop until I drop the mirror. I find it kinda entertaining. Do you have a betta fish ? Any tips ?

That sounds funny indeed I don't have a betta yet, but I have a tank ready and expect the fish to come next week. I can't wait for him!

My betta likes to let his food sink below the surface. Then he'll swim around the pellet quickly before grabbing it or poke it around his tank

Alot of the food ends up on the ground though. He also likes playing with bubbles. I'll gently blow into the water with a straw and he'll begin to pop and attack the bubbles

My gold barbs will swim everywhere. When it's food time there is no stopping them. They love food! My albino cories love to surf on the bubbles. I have a hob and sponge filter. They surf everywhere! My betas will come up to the surface when I come and nip at my fingers. It tickles so much!(yes I have a sorority) my RCS just ignore me lol. My angels love me so much! They greet me every time I enter the room. I could continue going on, but I have a lot of fish .

Funny stories guys!
My Betta Bluey is quiet the show off. I walked up to his tank today and as always held my finger on the glass to get his attention. For some reason today he thought he'd flare at me, not just once but the whole time I stood there lol He also has a habit of flaring at pellets if they get away from him while eating.
My Discus are more than funny at times, having little Mexican stand offs, lunging at each other but not touching, minI tail whacks and chasing each other for fun. Anytime I go near the tank they will swim right up and beg madly for food, its so cute!
