Good morning,

Sadie is correct. Once you reach 50 posts to the forum, then you will be able to use the Private Message feature. Until then, you are limited to Profile Messages.

Keep making helpful posts to the forum, or posting any questions that you may have and you'll reach 50 in no time. You're more than halfway there already.

No. You don't really need to. See Aquarist's post about helpful posts, or questions. Post-farming is a good way to annoy people, and if you do it enough can get you kicked off the forum.

You only need 18 more posts. And why is sending a PM so important? You can send the person a message on their profile page.

Yeah that rule is in place to protect our members from people just signing up to spam the pm system.
