I have a cory that isn’t going to make it but whenever I check to see if it’s alive it tries to mov and is still breathing. It’s really hard to watch and I’d like to make it suffering stop.

Have you tried doing any water changes? My way most here don't like, a heavy knife and a quick blow is very fast, sorry you have to go through this.

You can use clove oil.

Or just get a knife and smush him.

Normally it's peaceful in their sleep in a hospital tank. The last guppy I lost to SBD got a nice little floating java moss bed floating at the surface. I'm kind of a softie.

All the other fish are fine, there is no ammonia or nitrites, nitrates are low. I woke up and found it stuck to the filter intake tube so there is no way it’ll make it. I won’t be able to cut it or smoosh it, I’m a softie too. Thank you.

I've seen my vet use a needle through the brain. She said it was humane.

I use clove oil, you give them a small amount to put them unconscious and then overdose them so they basically pass away in their sleep
