Ok boring question but on the "Show New Replies to your Posts" can you get rid of the long list of old posts. I have tried the "Mark as Read" thing but the whole list was still there. Not a big deal but would like to know and I am sick of looking at posts from pre-historic times. See told you it was boring! :;rab

And by the way why aren't my smileys animated on this computer. They are when I am at work on their computers. Any ideas?

OoooiiiiiI WAKE UP!!!

HI Taz
If you want to get rid of all those old posts that show up in your "show new replies to your posts", I would suggest that you just click on each one, once the page opens up, hit again your " show new replies to your posts" and continue doing that. They will disappear from your list each time you click on them. Don't use your back button tho, it won't work then.
As far as your smilies not showing up.. I have no idea?

The only way I've found is to look at them. The problem is that this will only work if the thread has died. If anybody is keeping it alive, it will keep showing up.
But another forum I'm on has an "Unsubscribe" button. I don't see one here, but I might be missing it. Maybe Mike or one of the Mods can verify if there is one or not. (There are a few threads that I'd like to not get any more reminders about)

Soz, I don't know how to answer your question, but I've noticed that sometimes the smilies don't move as well. Its weird.

maybe it's something in aol's web browser? firefox is the browser to go with. you could try that and see if the problem is still there.

Firefox rules. I don't know what browser aol uses, or if they really have their own (most of the internet companies actually use either IE or Netscape), but if it's IE, you really want to get Firefox (or at least Netscape), because IE actually puts holes in your computer's defenses, even if you have a firewall, anti-virus, etc...
