How do I vacuum my fish tank with out getting floating plants everywhere

FishOverseer909

So I have a 7.5 gallon fish tank that has 2 pygmy corydoras and 2 cherry shrimp in it however vacuuming it has become quite a nuisance since I have a nice thick floater ceiling that gets everywhere as soon as I try to vacuum the tank what how can I fix this?

Maybe use some airline tubing to create a space on the top to keep the floaters out and lower tha vac and hand through there.

If you have floaters this is just something you learn to deal with. Mine do the same thing. Thankfully they float right back to the top when the tanks are refilled. If some of them hang on to decor and don't immediately float to the top a gentle nudge gets them moving up.
