    Personally I know nothing about the species myself , however I know like all fish they need to reach a certain growth and a certain age . Breeding too young can cause harmed fry. How old are your fish? Try searching up yahoo answers I always get the best answers from there. Sorry I could help more!! Good luck

    They will start courting and defending the area in which they will lay the eggs.

    My observation on Ram breeding in my tank: I got one female and male Ram, they started hanging out and swimming together then they chose an area and started cleaning an Anubias leaf and started chasing other fish away. You can also notice the female breeding tube starts to enlarge.

    Over the night they laid eggs.
