How Do I Tell If My Cory Is Pregnant?

Ellie Silvester

HI all

I have 3 peppered corydoras- two fully grown (I assume) and one really small one which hasn't grown noticeably since I got it. (Also as a side note I don't know if their male or female). One of them has gotten a lot bigger and I'm not sure if it's because it's eating too much or if it's pregnant- it has been getting bigger for a good 2-3 weeks now. How do I tell? Also, how long do corydoras usually hold their eggs before they lay them?

Thanks for any insight! I'll add a photo soon

I have never seen a single paleatus-egg for years. If you like them to spawn I'd do waterchanges with cold water.
