I have a breeder tank that is now floating in my 10 gallon tank. Last night my guppy gave birth to about 20. I want to move them to my 2 gallon until they get big enough they won't get eaten. How do I transfer them?

You can try a small net or a turkey baster and suck them up and deposit them.

But will taking them out of water affect future problems??

I have tons of guppy fry. What I did was remove them with a net. The ones I could save that is... some got eaten. However I also have a 5.5 gallon set up just for fry. I transferred them to that as soon as I could catch them and I have had no casualties in the process.
