No discus expert there

What is the stock?
You can fit 7-8 in a 60 gal tank. 5 is the minimum unless you have a breeding pair.

Not a breeding pair my turquoise can’t stand my pigeon blood he stays away from my pigeon. Blood at all costs

No, that you should only keep two if they are a breeding pair.

But I thought it was a bad idea to put new discus with an established discus since they get territorial

The territorial aggression lessens with more of their own kind.

Yes, I would. Id only get two at a time though. How many are you thinking that you are going to get? Discus pepper very easily if you have dark substrate, background etc.

I'd like an explanation of why only two at a time?

With territorial fish adding more at the same time significantly reduces the risk or territorial agression.

Ok pics would help. I’ve never had a territorial discus. Could be the pigeon is aggressive or the turquoise just hasn’t adjusted yet. What else is in the tank with them? How long have you had them? 60 gallonyou could add 3 more with no problem.

Most aren't temp compatible. I'd keep it at 83 and just know that they other fish will have shorter lives.
