How do I keep the skeleton of my fish?

Hi!
So recently, I sadly had a huge fish die off. But I took the opportunity to get some skeletons. They’re just sitting in my back yard right now, they don’t seem that fragile, but I don’t want to move them until I know how to preserve them. Their literally the full skeleton of the fish, there’s a molly and a couple bettas, which I know are extremely delicate. Anyone have any idea how I can preserve at least some of them without damaging them too much?

Maybe spray them with clear lacquer.

I seem to recall using clear casting resin to seal things when I was a kid' I forget how now, but there are probably tutorials out there.

Ok thank you, I’ll see if I can try both of those on a couple of the skeletons just to make sure it works before I do it on all of them

I’m not really planning to do anything with them, just figured it would be neat to have a small “collection” of skeletons lol
