How do I get rid of black beard algae?

Hello, for around a month now my tank has had an outbreak of black beard algae. How would I be able to remove the algae permanently? And would I be able to clean the algae off the glass with a razor blade? Thanks

A SAE siamese algae eater fish is known to eat BBA. If you have a large enough tank that could be worth considering.

Manual removal with a razor/scraper and then siphoning off loose algae works for me as temporary fix.
