I have Six 2 week old Fancy Guppy Fry and i'm not sure how to clean there tank without sucking them up in my gravel vac. I have a filter with a custom sponge around the intake and outtake so it only needs changed once a month...Right?
Any Suggestions Are Appreciated!

Turkey Baster and check the bucket before you dump it to make sure there's none in there.

As for water changes if you have real plants you need to change it as often as you need to change it.

If you have fake plants, water changes need to be done weekly.

Buy a breeder net (very cheap) and place the siphon in it, so the fry don't go into it.

Don't replace the sponge once a month, just fill up a bucket of tank water and squeeze it out there.

Turkey baster is a safe way to go.
I'm usually able to use my gravel vac - they move out of the way pretty fast.

I use my siphon/vacuum and be careful. Just Sunday I siphoned 3 3-4 week old guppy fry into the bucket. Netted em and put them back into the tank.

But in the last 12-15 waterchanges before that, no fry got sucked up.

I was distracted by hauling another bucket with clean water into the room.

A nylon stocking tied over the siphon works but prevents larger gunk from being vacuumed.
